Reduce. Recycle. Rejoice!
It all started about 8 years ago, when we noticed a jump in our electric bill. At the time, LED lights were outlandishly expensive, so we started small. For a period of about 1 year, we bought one LED bulb each month and replaced the lightbulbs we used most often. Six months after beginning our "bulb replacement program" we were amazed to see an electric bill that was much lower than we anticipated. From then on...we were hooked.
What started out as a way to save money became a fun challenge to see how we could simplify our lives and live more. We haven't been completely successful with everything we've tried, but we've learned from each attempt and, the more we discover about living simply, the more fun the challenge has become. Saving money, decreasing stress, and creating a better future for today's children is quickly becoming a passion of ours.
